    Hi there!

I had an emergency section first time round, I’m now pregnant again and would really like a normal delivery this time! Is there any tips to how I can achieve this?

Having a vaginal birth after a Caesarean section (VBAC) is a safe choice for many women. However the reason you had the c section in the first place is important in planning for your VBAC. There is a very small risk to your scar from your c section so it is important you discuss your options with your doctor and midwife.

Hi Madonna my advice is talk to your consultant obstetrician about the risks to you of a VBAC compared with a repeat caesarean, this may predict uterine scar weakness.
